Was there the weekend before last for the afternoon, got 11 good smallies at the bottom beat (always good in low flow).

Fished the bells there at the end of October, fishing was off the hook, and again the bottom beat was firing.

I haven't fished Elgro for SM in about 3 - 4 years, but don't discount a #16 - 18 Olive V rib caddis with a dark brown thorax.

Also ask the resident guide what is working. They fish the river every day
